Keeping on with the film topic started in the last article, today it is Barcelona’s turn. Barcelona has been set of several movies, so does Madrid. One of the most remembered ones is “Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona”, filmed by Woody Allen in 2008. The Hollywood stars Scarlett Johanson and the Spanish couple Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz were the main actors.
You may already know this event, as it is the main one about the real estate in Europe during the autumn season and one of the two best congresses of the year. It is an annual celebration where professionals, experts, business people and even customers, meet together to interchange knowledge, tendencies, compare prices and projects, etc. in Barcelona.
From 14 to 18 September, Vic will become a whole stage where all kinds of music artists coming from different national sites (and a few ones international), will perform their repertories to a massive audience. The Vic Live Music Market (“Mercat de Música Viva de Vic”) will celebrate, this 2011, its 23rd anniversary.
From the IV century, Barcelona became a walled town. In that moment, the city was called Barcino, and thanks to this great fortification, it grew enough to be the capital of Catalonia.
This festival puts together during all the August and beginning of September, famous and quality music artists from all over the world, who come from very heterogenic disciplines and styles, in order to satisfy different audiences who share the taste for the elevated sounds.

From the 9th to the 15th, the Girlie Circuit festival will join the main one with special parties for the lesbian public.
